Coongan Gold Project

Coogan is located in the eastern Pilbara about 8km to the west of the town of Nullagine and covers an area of 223km².

Numerous mineral occurrences have been reported in the district surrounding Coongan, including gold to the northwest and east, copper to the north, Channel Iron Deposits to the south and tin, tantalum and lithium to the east. The project is considered prospective for these metals and minerals.

Exploration undertaken by Azure since acquisition of its interest in the project comprises geological mapping, surface geochemical sampling (stream sediment, soils and rock chips), and geophysics consisting of airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys.

Several target areas consider prospective for precious and base metals and iron ore have been identified, and follow-up exploration is planned.
